Honoring Moriah on the Day of her Passing

To embody our magnitude is to heal the world--Moriah Marston

Moriah passed into spirit two years ago today, March 24. Since the morning of her transition and subsequent mourning of her passing, life has never been the same for many of us and understandably so.

Who, what and how could possibly fill the void that was left in the wake of her departure from earthly life? This was my pressing question of the day, everyday, as we all; community, friends, family, even cashiers at the local food coop and village bank tellers reeled in bewilderment.

And how could our beloved guiding light—full of such goodness, radiance, laughter, inspiration, brilliance, love, devotion and sparkling presence, just…die and disappear—wrenched from our earthly life. No negotiation. Gone…But REALLY? Death, the great teacher, poses many questions and riddles.

But this trial of heartbreak and life inversion hasn’t necessarily been a bad thing as the crushing loss and ensuing dark night would suggest. Death can vivify life and the deeper truth of existence so deeply. And, like the end of a Charles Dickens story, the dots begin to connect and display a cosmic tapestry of which I am now so grateful to be a part.

Remembering Arline

Remembering our friend
Arline Smeal

forever in the rainbow light

Pink Roses, by Arline Smeal. Copyright 2012

Last Thursday, our beloved Arline Smeal made her transition to the Rainbow Light. The Tibetan assures us that he "carried her home, and that while her transition (please use care when clicking this link) is perhaps difficult to understand or comprehend, it was in Divine Order, her work was done. She was fully embraced by the Light and presence of God, and All is Well. "

Arline is remembered both by neighbors and friends in her building and by ourselves as a loving, caring, compassionate being, who extended that care to all she encountered.

We honor  her humor, her joy, her spirit and her extreme dedication to the School and the teachings of Moriah and the Tibetan over many years.   There is so much to say about Arline and we invite you to share your thoughts and memories on our website memorial page, or on Facebook.

Arline, we will miss you, your loving spirit, your joy, enthusiasm and supreme dedication to your Path. Thank you for being a teacher, friend, guide, cheerleader, healer, emissary of the light, and companion with us. We send you buckets and buckets of RAINBOW LIGHT! RAINBOW LIGHT! RAINBOW LIGHT!

Arline offers rainbow light energy healing.

May you find a beautiful peace in your eternal connection with Yanim, DK, the Tibetan and all of your Arcturian and Celestial friends, loved ones and guides.  Say hi to Moriah for us.
We miss you already.

Love always,
your transformational times family.

MESSAGE FROM ZAYNE

It’s hard to believe that January is over. It has been over 10 months since Moriah, our beloved Guiding Light, returned home to the ecstatic realm of the Masters. This period, truly a passage into the dark night of my soul and for many others, has been a time of deep stillness and reflection. It has thrust me into the catacombs and canyons of my being that I never knew existed. I had to face them head-on and feel it all. No getting around it. Quite frankly, there were times I thought I would just die. I must confess, at times I prayed that it would happen.

But I touched a light of joy so bright at the bottom of the well and it seems to grow and glow a little bit more each day despite life challenges. This process has catalyzed a renewed sense of purpose, a central organizing principle that has rearranged my state of mind and life perspective. Like pushing the cosmic reset button. Evolutionary. At this point I can see the hidden blessing in Moriah’s passing in that I would never have been able to access these dark and buried places to transform and purify them through awareness, feeling, acceptance, trust and compassion.

What is your dark night of the soul? How has it impacted your life? Has it served as an evolutionary tool for you? If so, how? These questions and many more will be explored in an intimate, group setting Saturday, FEBRUARY 13 at the School of the Golden Discs.  We hope this event will set the stage for further exploration of the Dark Night through weekly phone conferencing, which will begin in mid-February. Stay tuned for more information about this program.

We will start the Sunday seminar with Five-Organ Sound Healing Qigong, taught by Zayne. Using the voice of sound and mind intent, negative emotional energy is rapidly repatterned into virtuous powers housed within each organ system that helps us return to our natural state of being.

The bulk of the program will focus on group exploration and sharing in finding Light in the Dark Night, which allows the group synergy to work its magic. We will finish with a shamanic journey led by Nancela Howe then commune together with a potluck meal. Hope you can attend!

Is there any permanence? Message from Zayne

Summer is slipping through my fingers at a rapid tempo. I wonder if tempo relates to tempo-rary, because that seems to be the theme of my life these days and for many others--the ephemeral, transient nature of life and all of its fixings.

Facing the permanence of change
Might as well stand and face it, the only permanence is change, as I am forced to discover and yield to the elasticity of my being and trust it enough to meet the turbulent, shifting waters of my existence, murky at times, yet effervescent too. Free will aside, there  is no other choice.

A Taoist sage once said in response the vortexes and roller-coaster-change life brings, I go in with a swirl and out  with a whirl. I follow the way of water and don't think of myself. I have clung to this mantra like a life raft during an initiatory passage of  grief and loss through which I now travel.

Another kind of permanence
But there also is another kind of permanence, something we can actually take with us when we leave our precious bodies. Our Soul Essence. Our Essential Self.

 Releasing soul encumbrances
A purpose of the School of the Golden Discs, and the ticket to embracing the New Consciousness that Moriah and the Tibetan have written and taught so much about, (see Making the Shift: A Field Guide to the Emerging Consciousness, Volume 1), had been to release all encumbraces, the trappings, to our glorious Soul.

A Journey into Grief: Reflections, Insights, Experience

by Zayne Marston, Director, School of the Golden Discs

As a point of entry into the topic of grief, I would like to share some thoughts about my personal experience during this harrowing and painful journey of my soul since Moriah's physical death. The extreme vulnerability that accompanies grief and loss, was paramount in my heightening receptivity to Divine Grace--the gift of it all. It is my hope that by imparting my grief process it will help all of you who are steeped in the pain of loss, whatever that may be.

 hopelessness and agony
If grief is not embraced and honored, we can slip into that depression-sorrow-despair-feeling of hopelessness—teetering on the edge of utter insanity and “why bother” syndrome. I have been there. Not fun. It is an agony that wicks the spark of life out of all of us who are affected to such a degree.

the Vacuum
The vacuum left from losing Moriah is so hard to bear, it's cellular, hard to be inspired and feel joy. Moriah was a natural at doing that for us. So I'm called to venture on my own, deep inside my being--inward unbound as we say--to access the inner resources and ignite the heart and soul passion needed to fuel my soul journey. And I am called to FEEL my grief, take the plunge. Scary territory.

Moriah"s Awakening: A word from the Holy Spirit

Moriah reached enlightenment during the last stage of her life. This was the primary goal in her life—to fully awaken. The strong spiritual energy that emanated from her fading life form thickened the air in the great room where she lay; often smiling despite the intense pain she was in.

Shortly after Moriah’s transition, I hungered for a greater perspective. I wanted desperately to know how she is doing out there in the Great Beyond. What is she up to? Did she truly awaken before “lift off”? So I was graced with a reading from Daniel Neusom, a pastor of the Sacred Light Fellowship in Time Square who happens to be an amazing channel for the Holy Spirit.

I would like to share with you some excerpts from this life changing reading:

Moriah" How is she?

Daniel is perceiving her in her true and real power and glory. Her transition and transformation is complete. She has already begun to teach in the new realm she is in, and has begun the work of helping to train and prepare souls who will be coming to the Earth in the near future for the incarnations they are preparing.

The souls she is working with are coming to end of their need to come to earth and she is helping them to let go and release and open to new frequencies that they are to bring to the earth to their respective lives.

As you hear this description of her work, you will see that it is very similar to what she did when she was in body.  Her transition was a great joy and release and relief for her. She remained on earth of course for her own process, but also so that her departure would not be so jarring or traumatic for you and others in the community. There was a time of preparation for this, giving you each an opportunity to process the experience in your own way...READ MORE AND COMMENT CLICK BELOW

From Loss into Infinity

Chapter excerpt from Earth School, a Fresh Perspective on the Human Condition

by Moriah Marston & the Tibetan © 2006

Supposedly nothing is ever really lost in the Universe. All of creation, every being, is infinite in nature and therefore ultimately impervious to annihilation. However, when we lose loved ones, animal friends, long-term employment, health, parts of ourselves and/or outmoded dreams, the loss (so painfully “real”) threatens to devastate our faith and spirit.

Lately, heightened energetic frequencies are impacting the earth plane propelling us forward at lightning speed as if we were on an express train with no local stops at which to get off and look around, take a break, regroup. This express train speeds up our clearing process. Losses are compounding on themselves as we are being forced to radically let go of aspects of our life experience too profoundly near and dear to imagine relinquishing.

Last week my beloved eight-year old Belgian sheepdog, “Zulu,” died after two weeks of battling a fast-moving bone cancer. Because I work at home, Zulu and I were almost constantly together since we first adopted him at ten weeks old. His astounding physical beauty, advanced intelligence, unconditional love, relentless joy, childlike playfulness and utter devotion were nutritional mainstays for my soul. These gifts provided me with the courage, stamina, support and faith to continue to move forward through the intense rigors of the accelerated soul alchemy process of transformation that heats up and discharges all dark pockets in the unconscious.

Deepening our Connections: Cultivating Meaningful Soul Based Relationships

by Moriah Marston  Earth School: A Fresh Perspective on the Human Condition copyright 2006

What would it be like for our hearts to be deeply linked and to mutually experience each other’s fully expressed essence? The rapidly emerging paradigm calls us to unite as one human being. Our interconnections are now under tremendous evolutionary pressure.

Collectively we’re shifting into soul-based living. This has a dramatic effect on all relationships. Whether we’re friends, family, lovers, employer/employee, acquaintances, colleagues, teacher/students, we’re becoming soulmates to each other. Consequently, familiar social patterns of superficiality need to be released. Attempts to mask our true self by putting on a happy face, pretending to be civil or nice probably feel particularly empty and painful at this time. We’re used to fleeting gestures of shallow togetherness that may momentarily warm the heart but rarely touch the soul. Most relationship dynamics are laced with the poisons of inhibition, miscommunication, abandonment, betrayal, misunderstanding, rejection and projection.
